those are bugs around a light at a restaurant

Linda was in Appleton, Wisconsin last weekend, and took this photo of bugs flitting around a light outside of Fratellos Riverfront Restaurant. We didn’t realize how “Midwestern” this photo was until Nicole mentioned that you would never see this kind of photo in L.A. – there are no bugs there. Growing up and living in Illinois, bugs are a normal part of life here. Midwest memories… dousing yourself with “Off” to fight off mosquitoes, catching lightning bugs and punching air holes in the lid of a jar. . .
