The 70th anniversary of the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima is coming up on February 23. This was brought to our attention when Nicole’s son was assigned a class project. As they researched, they came across an interesting article on the U.S. Naval Institute’s website, entitled “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima”: The Most Reproduced and Parodied Photo in History?” The Ozment boys dug into the project, and C&O jumped right in to create our newest animated GIF.
