the konmari method – experiment in seeing the joy spark

Organizing the toy roomWe love self help books. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Maire Kondo is a book about the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing. After KonMaring her closet, Nicole wanted to go further with the idea of recognizing joy by how they appear in photos. She also has an ongoing fashion diary on tumblr with this experiment with her clothes. In her home, it is time to do the toys. Here is a photo from a camera monitor to see the before view and we swear, we see sad toys. Do you? We’ve been working hard to make these guys happy again by organizing them neatly.
